Boardroom Services
Our Boardroom Services team welcomes visitors, assists with reserving space and equipment for meetings, coordinates video conferencing services and helps with all catering needs.
Client Relations & Marketing
The Client Relations & Marketing team supports business development and marketing efforts across the Firm. It defines, develops and executes strategic business development and marketing plans that will generate increased revenue from new and existing clients.
Finance and Accounting
The Finance & Accounting department looks after the Firm’s financial statements, bill payments, expenses, and general ledger and payroll maintenance, among other things.
General Counsel’s Office
The General Counsel’s Office is responsible for making decisions regarding legal risks and compliance matters within the Firm.
Human Resources & Legal Personnel
The Human Resources & Legal Personnel department looks after our people through managing recruitment, integration, learning and development, engagement and performance, as well as Total Rewards. This team also oversees the firm's equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Information Technology
The Information Technology team recommends, develops, implements and supports technology solutions that provide our people with secure, reliable and timely access to information.
Innovation & Research Services
The Innovation team is dedicated to deploying cutting-edge strategies and technology to optimize efficiency in our service delivery to clients. Our Research Services team enhances these innovation strategies by providing a variety of research services and leveraging the latest tools and technologies available.
Procurement & Facilities
Our Procurement & Facilities department oversees the Firm’s property to ensure we are working in a clean, healthy and safe work environment.
Legal Support Services & Document Services
The Legal Support Services department comprises our legal assistants and other legal support roles. They are tasked with providing administrative support for our legal professionals and their practices.
Document Services is a centralized administrative support team that provides advanced document support and troubleshooting.
Linguistic Services
Based in Montréal, the Linguistic Services team serves all Blakes clients nationally and internationally, as well as all internal departments of the Firm.
The Legal Translation unit manages the translation and review of a wide range of legal documents, including continuous disclosure materials, contracts, agreements and more. The Internal unit, an integral part of the Linguistic Services team, translates the Firm's marketing and internal communications, ranging from bulletins and social media posts to guides, policies and Firm-wide emails.
