Overview

Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) is widely regarded as the market leader for financial services, and we are looking for an Associate with two to four years of experience to join the Toronto office in the transactional practice. 

Our Financial Services transactional lawyers are highly respected and internationally recognized, and our top-ranked practice covers a broad range of asset classes for both lender-side and borrower-side mandates in the banking and finance space. Areas serviced by our Financial Services transactional practice include syndicated lending, leveraged finance, aerospace finance, mining finance, asset-based lending, project and infrastructure finance, energy finance, equipment finance, real estate finance, private credit, structured finance, and securitizations. 

Blakes regularly acts as counsel to many of Canada’s major financial institutions, as well as U.S., European and other non-Canadian financial services providers, taking a multidisciplinary team approach on structuring cross-border arrangements in compliance with Canada’s banking legislative regime.
