Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating logistics for recruitment processes (e.g., student, lateral or early talent), including scheduling, communications, interview support and candidate tracking.
- Assisting with the administration of talent programs, including onboarding, evaluations and ongoing coordination.
- Supporting the full student recruitment cycle, including application tracking and candidate management.
- Planning and executing internal and external events including summer student, articling student and recruitment events, networking sessions, training programs, volunteer initiatives, by managing event logistics, vendor coordination, catering, materials, accommodation and guest registration.
- Supporting the delivery of diversity & inclusion, pro bono, student and alumni initiatives, including event and webinar coordination, communications and participant experience.
- Maintaining program-related records and supporting tracking, reporting and communications as required.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (e.g., schools, organizations, community groups) to support initiatives and engagement.
- Providing administrative support, including processing expenses, coordinating memberships and sponsorships, and handling general correspondence and inquiries.
- College diploma or university degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.
- Experience in a professional services, human resources or administrative environment is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems.
The anticipated annual salary for the Student and Associate Programs and Events Assistant position is $60,000 - $75,000. Salary levels will be determined commensurate with internal equity, market equity and experience.
